§ 4-39. Department established; department director.

There shall be a Department of Human Services, the head of which shall be the Director of Human Services. The Director, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council, shall be qualified by training and experience to be the head of the Department. The Director shall serve during the term of office of the Mayor appointing the Director and until the appointment and qualification of a successor.
