Impulsive sound which repeats four or more times in any hour shall be measured as continuous sound and shall meet the requirements as shown in Tables I and II.C.Maximum sound levels are as follows:(1)Outdoors.Table IMaximum Permissible A-Weighted Sound Levels When Measured OutdoorsReceiving property categoryResidential property, or residential portion of a multi-use propertyCommercial facility, public service facility, nonresidential portion of a multi-use property, or community service facilityTime7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.24 hoursMaximum A-weighted sound level standard, dB655065(2)Indoors.Table IIMaximum Permissible A-Weighted Sound Levels When Measured IndoorsReceiving property categoryResidential property, or residential portion of a multi-use propertyCommercial facility or nonresidential portion of a multi-use propertyTime7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.24 hoursMaximum A-weighted sound level standard, dB554055NOTE: Table II shall only apply when the source and the receptor are separated by a real property line and they also share a common or abutting wall, floor or ceiling, or are on the same parcel of property.(3)Octave band.Table IIIMaximum Permissible Octave Band Sound Pressure Levels in DecibelsReceiving property categoryResidential property, or residential portion of a multi-use propertyOUTDOORSResidential property, or residential portion of a multi-use propertyINDOORSCommercial facility, public service facility, nonresidential portion of a multi-use property, or community service facilityOUTDOORSCommercial facility or nonresidential portion of a multi-use propertyINDOORSOctave Band Center Frequency, HzOctave Band Sound Pressure Level dBOctave Band Sound Pressure Level, dBOctave Band Sound Pressure Level dBOctave Band Sound Pressure Level dBTime7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.24 hours24 hours31.5968686769686638271726182721257461645174642506753574367575006348533863531,0006045503560502,0005742473257474,0005540453055458,000533843285343NOTE: When octave measurements are made, the sound from the source must be constant in level and character.
