§ 122-12. Animals and wildlife.

    No person shall permit a dog in his/her possession to run at large within any park or recreation land in West Windsor Township except in property designated "dog parks" located within West Windsor Community Park. A dog must be in the custody or in the control of its owner and, except in the aforementioned "dog parks," restricted by a leash not exceeding 15 feet in length. The owner of a dog must adhere to the Township ordinances regarding the proper cleanup of waste from his/her dog while at a park or recreation land. At any program, activity or event sponsored by West Windsor Township, dogs are not permitted, with the exception of a Seeing Eye dog or a hearing ear dog.
    B. 
    No person shall molest, impair or kill any animal or disturb its habitat, nor shall any person fish in any area at which signs are posted prohibiting the same.
